今週のバイブルストーリーはダニエル3章からシャデラク、メシャク、アベデネゴというへブル人たちのお話でした。ネブカデネザル王は、みんなに金色の像を拝むように命じ、従わなかった人は火の炉の中に投げ込まれるという命令でした。唯一の全能なる神様を信じていたシャデラク、メシャク、アベデネゴは、偶像を拝みませんでした。王様はとても怒り、3人を炉の中に投げ込みました。しかし、3人は燃えることはありませんでした。そして王様は、シャデラク、メシャク、アベデネゴが信じていた神様を信じることにしました。

クリエーションレッスンでは、fire 火について学びました。火を使ってみんなでミニソーセージを焼いて食べたり、枝と紙でキャンプファイヤーとスモアを作って遊びました♪

The Bible story this week was the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from Daniel 3. King Nebuchadnezzar forced all people to bow down to a giant golden statue. If they did not bow down and worship the idol, they were thrown into the fiery furnace. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did not bow down to the statue because they believed in the only true God. The king threw them in the fire but they were not burned! They came out unharmed and then the king believed in the one true God.

Creation theme was fire. Everybody enjoyed cooking and eating mini sausages together. We also built a campfire with branches and paper and made s’mores in school!
